(EtQ Inc.: Farmingdale, NY) --  EtQ announces the recent release of its failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) module, which enables organizations to better analyze product and process design, reduce the time taken to study effects, and mitigate the risk of potential failures.

The need for organizations to ensure the safety and quality of their products led EtQ to develop its FMEA module. When designing or changing a process or product, companies can use FMEA to anticipate potential hazards that may occur with a process or product before it’s released. EtQ’s FMEA module provides a step-by-step approach for identifying possible failures, studying their consequences or effects, and eliminating or reducing these failures before they reach the customer. FMEA can be used at any stage of the product life cycle but is particularly effective during the design phase.
