Body

(SBTI: San Marcos, Texas) -- Sigma Breakthrough Technologies Inc., an international business process solutions consulting firm is now offering lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification testing online.

For the certification test, a set of 90 randomly selected questions are divided into five main sections based on the define, measure, analyze, improve, control (DMAIC) Six-Sigma roadmap. To achieve certification, 70 percent of the questions must be answered correctly. Green Belt candidates are additionally required to submit a complete project report along with a letter from a champion (manager) showing business results. “An SBTI Master Black Belt or executive resource evaluates the projects submitted,” says Ausifa Munshi of SBTI.

SBTI also offers a WebGB program, a distance-learning Green Belt training program, with live instructors and WebEx-enabled presentation and discussion. The program takes place in four sessions over a period of four months and each class is limited in size to 15 students. Students will attend in half-days for each of the four weeks, with exercises led by the instructor. All candidates must have a Green Belt project before they can attend training, and key tool-use deliverables are due before each session. The program is based on and includes SBTI’s XLGB free Excel toolkit. Students will need a project team and access to a PC with Microsoft Office installed for application of the tools.
