Aveta Adds New Edition of Six Sigma Handbook to Curriculum

Third edition of Thomas Pyzdek’s handbook is a requirement in Six Sigma training and certification courses.

(Aveta: Cleveland) -- The training courses at Aveta’s Six Sigma Online (www.sixsigmaonline.com)  have just gotten a facelift. The required textbook for the course, The Six Sigma Handbook: A Complete Guide for Green Belts, Black Belts, and Managers at All Levels, by Thomas Pyzdek and Paul Keller (McGraw-Hill Co., 2009), has been upgraded to the books third edition.

“We have been using the second edition since the company started in 2004,” says Craig Setter, president and CEO of Aveta Business Institute. Throughout the past five years, Aveta has grown, along with its reputation. “People are really starting to see that it is possible to get quality Six Sigma training and certification at an affordable price,” Setter continues. Due to an overwhelmingly great response to the textbook from former and current students, Aveta decided to stay with The Six Sigma Handbook, and upgrade their courses to include the additional text editions to give students a choice.
