(Techno-Omil: New Hyde Park, NY) -- A new series of two-finger parallel grippers from Techno-Omil feature a heavy-duty T-slot design. Identified as the OPP2 series, these nine grippers feature a stroke range from 12 mm to 72 mm and a gripping force from 420 N to 8410 N. Their range of operating pressure is from 2 to 8 bar. The housings are made of high-tensile, hard-coated aluminum alloy, which is hard-anodized, and they are completely maintenance-free for the first 1.5 million cycles.

Techno-Omil has been distributing grippers and automation components in North America for the last 25 years, and offers a complete line of grippers, including 2-, 3-, and 4-finger pneumatic grippers; two-finger angular grippers; swivel units; hydraulic clamping and work-holding blocks; and linear actuators. The company has extensive experience and technical knowledge to assist in sizing and selecting the proper component for all automation needs.

Omil’s attention to quality includes machining housings and components from high-grade, aircraft-quality aluminum alloys on CNC machines instead of casting or extruding. This allows the product to consistently hold the high tolerances that are required by its customers.
