Process Excellence Week Is Rebranded for January 2012

Pex Network combines two annual summits to broaden knowledge share

(Pex Network: Orlando FL) -- PEX Network, a division of IQPC, announced the fusion of its two largest U.S. summits—the 13th Annual Lean Six Sigma & Process Improvement Summit, and the Business Process Management Summit. The two summits, which ran simultaneously last January under separate names, will be held together as one event under the new brand of Process Excellence Week (PEX Week) in 2012.

The rebrand reflects both the changing nature of the broader business process excellence community as well as the PEX Network brand established earlier this year.

Running from Jan. 16–19, 2012, the combined format will open the door to increased knowledge share across the disciplines and promote a holistic approach to business process excellence as a management strategy.

“Since we launched our Lean Six Sigma Summit 13 years ago, the industry has massively changed,” says Megan James, event director. “Process excellence is no longer about how to deploy one specific tool set but more about how to leverage all the process disciplines to drive the next level in organizational excellence. As such it makes sense that the summit reflects this in approach and content.”
