(Advanced Inspection Technologies: Melbourne, FL) -- The new Snakescope Video Borescope is portable and handheld, and can snake through areas as small as 5.5 mm (0.216 in.). This video borescope breaks the price barriers while offering a true, high-resolution image and advanced features. The Snakescope Video Borescope will be a welcome tool for remote visual-inspection professionals across a wide range of industries.

The borescope includes a variety of useful features: A choice of three diameters and lengths to reach any application; a high-resolution, 720 × 525 pixel imager for clear images; water resistant; a flexible gooseneck shaft for viewing around corners; four adjustable LED lights; ability to record still images and video on a removable secure digital (SD) memory card; and operates on standard AA batteries for 4 to 6 hours of continuous operation.
