Intercim Inc., a provider of process and quality management solutions to the defense and aerospace industries, has partnered with Operations Technologies, a provider of inventory chain management solutions, to enhance both companies’ software products. The partnership will allow Intercim to include Operations Technologies’ products as part of Intercim’s Velocity suite. Both companies’ products are built on Microsoft .NET technology, enabling an easy-to-deploy and easy-to-manage Web-based system. The partnership also brings together both companies’ extensive experience in enterprise resource planning integration, including certified and in-production adapters to a variety of business enterprise systems.

The Velocity suite is used to meet regulatory requirements, harness lean principles, manage quality and business processes, and bridge process execution between design and production. Benefits to the enhanced suite include reduced inventory and inventory costs, complete end-to-end supply chain visibility, improved deliver performance and fulfillment rates, increased productivity, improved quality and lower costs.
