During 2009, companies in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and food and beverage, faced more stringent regulations driven by quality-related risk, supplier-related quality issues and regulatory audits, as well as new requirements relating to electronic submission of regulatory reports. Even greater regulatory activity is promised for 2010 as companies continue to expand their operations globally and face new challenges inherent in the lengthening of supply networks and differing international regulations.
TrackWise Connection 2010 will bring quality professionals from all corners of the globe to Destination Q to address issues in a peer-driven, educational setting that will equip them with the strategies and tools necessary to mitigate such global marketplace challenges. Educational content will focus on the themes of audit preparation, global harmonization of quality systems, and integration of existing applications in the event of a merger or acquisition.
Additionally, attendees will receive an exclusive preview of advancements expected in Sparta Systems’ flagship TrackWise Enterprise Quality Management Solution (EQMS) in 2010, and an inside look at how they will be able to leverage these advancements to achieve greater compliance and quality on a truly global scale.
“With so many new and increasingly complex challenges confronting quality professionals on a daily basis, it’s essential that they have a forum to share their strategies and best practices,” says Jim McGowan, president and CEO at Sparta Systems. “The content of TrackWise Connection 2010 is designed to arm these professionals with the tools and tactics they need to remain compliant with new and current global regulations in 2010. The conference sessions will provide proven strategies to streamline and optimize quality operations, minimize risk, and improve product safety.”
Also at Destination Q, Sparta Systems will be recognizing those companies that have made the most forward-thinking use of TrackWise with the annual TrackWise Innovation Awards. Winners will be chosen based on the uniqueness of their application, the success of their implementation, and the presentation of efficient and clean configuration concepts in their TrackWise deployments.
