(Infinity QS International: Chantilly, VA) -- InfinityQS International, a provider of real-time statistical process control (SPC) software, recently announced that Kraft Foods has selected InfinityQS ProFicient 4 for the global rollout of SPC, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and net contents control capabilities in its manufacturing facilities. The first phase of this rollout focuses on North America with the implementation of the software in 11 sites by the end of 2009.

ProFicient 4 allows Kraft Foods to synthesize quality data across these sites, providing precise analysis of specification trends coming off production lines and the ability to control process drift. The plantwide quality system allows Kraft to monitor real-time shop floor capabilities and make timely decisions that prevent potential quality issues, ultimately bringing significant savings to the company.

“InfinityQS takes great pride in developing powerful quality tools that allow global companies like Kraft Foods to see a clearer picture of the their manufacturing capabilities,” says Michael A. Lyle, president and CEO of InfinityQS. “Over the last 20 years, each new customer has strengthened our commitment to create products that quickly deliver a return on investment by reducing scrap, defects, and other quality issues.”
