(A2LA: Frederick, MD) -- The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) is offering a course titled, “ISO 15189 and Accreditation” on Sept. 24–25, 2012, at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. Through the implementation of ISO 15189, you will be able to use a systems view of quality management to better design and implement your laboratory functions, design a total laboratory process that addresses the principles of quality medical laboratory services, and implement pre-examination, examination, and post-examination processes essential to patient care, specific to your laboratory. Course content includes a comprehensive look at the clauses of the standard.

The cost of the course is $745 for A2LA members and $795 for nonmembers. For more information and to register, visit www.a2la.org/training/iso15189.cfm?private=no.
