(Makino: Auburn Hills, MI) -- Makino’s 2011 Advanced Manufacturing and High-Precision Technology Expo is scheduled for Oct. 12–13 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the company’s technology center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about new manufacturing processes, techniques, philosophies, and strategies. High-precision machining demonstrations also will be displayed, including tool, die, mold, medical, automotive, and aerospace.

At the event, featured presenter Steve LeFever, chairman and founder of Business Resource Services, will discuss financial management education as the single greatest need for business owners across all industries. Additional presentations delivered by Makino will include micromachining, electrical discharge machining (EDM) technologies, production-oriented vertical machining centers (VMCs), and a metrology panel discussion.
