Wellness can apply both to you and the work you do every day

It’s a basic concept, but it’s something that many of us have forgotten how to achieve in our ever-busier lives. It’s a frame of mind that can be all-too-quickly brushed aside in the name of efficiency, career advancement, or other obligations. What is this elusive concept that I am referring to? Wellness.

Wellness has been on the back burner for many professionals striving to make careers for themselves in their chosen professions. These people may have been under the notion that to be the best, they had to give up their personal needs. Things like rest, exercise, and time with family and friends were left by the wayside in order to reap the benefits of hard work in a career. However, a new wave of individuals are challenging this way of life and claiming their rights to wellness.
