SAL3D Library Supports Mesa Time-of-Flight Cameras

(AQSENSE: Girona, Spain) -- AQSENSE, developer of 3-D machine vision technologies has a 3-D Shape Analysis Library, SAL3D, a library for cloud-points acquisition and manipulation, which now supports the SR4000, the leading line 3-D time-of-flight cameras from Mesa Imaging, the Switzerland-based developer and manufacturer of customized camera solutions. With this inclusion, SAL3D broadens its array of supported systems which already contained cameras from IDS, Automation Technology, Ximea, and Point Grey as well as frame grabbers from Silicon Software, Dalsa, BitFlow, Matrox, and ImperX.

The SR4000, MESA Imaging’s 4th generation of time-of-flight cameras, offers a product line of industrial grade, 3-D cameras, based on proprietary time-of-flight image-sensor and camera technology. SR4000 cameras are known for their excellent accuracy, long-term stability, and reliability. They are used in diverse applications, such as automatic cow-milking, volume measurement, people detection or counting, or for control of automatic guided vehicles.
