(Proceq SA: Schwerzenbach, Switzerland) -- Proseq, a global manufacturer of high-quality portable test equipment, has created new features for its Pundit Lab, which was originally developed during the 1970s as the world’s first portable, ultrasonic nondestructive indicating tester.

Pundit’s waveform display can now be viewed directly on the instrument, which was not possible with the phased-out Pundit 7 and Pundit Plus models. This is a major practical step forward because it allows the trigger point to be set manually on site. It’s particularly useful when measuring with exponential transducers.

The Pundit Lab’s memory capacity of  greater than 500 measured values and range of energizing pulses (125V, 250V, 350V, 500V, and AUTO with optimized pulse width) are further improvements over earlier models.
