(Setra Systems Inc.: Boxborough, MA) -- Setra Systems Inc., a manufacturer and designer of pressure measurement instrumentation, announces the availability of their newly enhanced model 470T digital pressure transducer for clean dry air and gases. The Model 470T now features an improved compensated temperature range of -20° to 65°C (-4° to 149°F) and operating temperature range of -40° to 75°C (-40° to 167°F). These wider temperature ranges make the 470T particularly well suited for weather observation applications, which operate in extreme environmental conditions and experience wide swings in temperature.

The 470T is a versatile microprocessor-based instrument that utilizes Setra’s Setraceram sensor, advanced digital electronic circuitry, and sophisticated firmware. All combine to give a system accuracy of better than +0.02-percent full scale, in pressure ranges from 0 to 10, 20, 50, and 100 psia; 600 to 1,100 mbar, or 800 to 1,100 mbar.
