(Thread Check Inc.: Hauppauge, NY) -- Thread Check Inc. has introduced the Rotary Thread Inspection Tool, which inspects screw threads for functional size and depth faster than conventional methods.

The power-driven thread gauge eliminates operator hand and arm fatigue, and repetitive motion injuries because the rotary thread inspection tool’s specially designed motor turns the gauge to safely check internal screw threads. The instrument features a portable and ergonomic design that is made for industrial use. The instrument is supplied with high performance rechargeable NIMH “quick change” batteries that provide long lasting hours of operation. The unit includes a patented feature that allows setting of a specified thread gauge depth and then automatically reverses out of the thread when the gauge has reached the specified depth. The proper depth is confirmed by a green light indicator.

The Rotary Thread Inspection Tool uses standard or specially designed taperlock style thread plug gauges that can be easily changed for multiple jobs.

A video on the use of the gauge can be viewed at www.threadcheck.com.
