Body

(Toshiba Teli America Inc.: Irvine, CA) -- The CS9501 from Toshiba Teli America Inc. is one of the world's smallest cameras. The ultracompact 1/6-inch CCD camera head measures a mere 7 mm in diameter and weighs 3 grams.

About the size of a pen cap, the camera head with its integrated three-meter cable connects to an included camera control unit (CCU) to fit into confined spaces or be integrated into a moving part, such as on the end of a robotic arm. Its compact dimensions and high resolution are appreciated by system engineers who need a cost-effective, space-saving solution for applications as varied as machine vision, robotics, surface mounting and inspection, semiconductors, and scientific imaging.

The CS9501 captures 470-TVL Horizontal resolution (768 x 494 pixels NTSC) or (752 x 582 pixels PAL) full frame images. Automatic light control and auto white balance assure optimum image quality against variations in intensity or color temperatures. Video output is available for VBS and Y/C (S terminal).
