InspectionXpert for Solid Edge is an add-in for Solid Edge that interrogates the inspection characteristics in the 2-D drawing and automatically creates a ballooned inspection sheet and inspection reports for AS9102, the international standard for first article inspection for the aerospace industry; for the product part approval process (PPAP), a set of advanced product quality planning tools used in the automotive industry; for first article inspection reports (FAIR); and for in-process inspections.

Enhancements to InspectionXpert for Solid Edge ST2 include:
