(Cooper Instruments and Systems: Warrenton, VA) -- Cooper Instruments and Systems has recently introduced a line of portable hydraulic compression and tension test stands called the T-Rex System. This line of rugged and flexible hydraulic compression and tension test stands has been expanded to include a range of capacities that include the standard 10-ton compression (4-ton tension) system, as well as standard 25- and 50-ton versions.

The T-Rex Test System has been designed to accommodate a variety of materials, component, and product tests. A range of capacities and custom configurations can be provided to accommodate testing applications such as mechanical connection tests, adhesive bond strength verification, extraction force tests, crushing strength reviews, and many other testing regimens and product quality evaluations.

Material strengths typically investigated include metals, rigid plastics, concrete, fabrics, adhesives, foils, paper, packaging, construction materials, concrete, wood, and many others. A wide array of customers performing mechanical design and quality tests with this portable test stand include aerospace, automotive, consumer products, construction materials, and manufacturing operations of all types.

Components typically tested include connectors, anchors, weldments, fasteners, tie downs, wire crimps, and attachments of every description.
