(Starrett: Athol, MA) -- Doug Starrett, president and CEO of The L.S. Starrett Co., announced that Starrett donated more than $100,000 of precision measuring tools to support Workshops for Warriors, a nonprofit that assists the transition of U.S. military veterans into civilian life through training, mentoring, and job placement. “We are honored to be a partner with Workshops for Warriors to help the training and placing of veterans into advanced manufacturing careers,” says Starrett.
