The Executive Committee waives the conference registration and membership fees for individuals presenting at the annual conference. (Note: In the case of presentations where there are multiple authors or contributors, the committee is only able to waive one conference registration and membership fee.)
The Coordinate Metrology Society will publish both technical papers and presentations on the CMSC website. Additionally, peer-selected technical papers will be published in the Journal of the CMSC, which is mailed to a large circulation, and distributed at trade shows or conferences that influence participation at the annual CMSC.
The organization seeks papers that explore the successful deployment of 3D coordinate measurement systems, industry best practices, scientific research and developments, and initiatives associated with portable metrology and related applications. The CMS Executive Committee peer-reviews each abstract for presentation at CMSC 2014. Notification of acceptance will occur on April 4, 2014. Last year, 26 expert presentations were delivered by worldwide industry leaders covering technology, theory, and practice to advance the field of 3D metrology.
