(Johnson Gage: Bloomfield, CT) -- As a part of its continuing commitment to the aerospace and defense market, The Johnson Gage Co. will feature its industry standard and time-tested Thread Inspection Systems as well as a broad spectrum of new products in booth No. 1718 at the AeroDef 2011 exposition and conference, April 5–7, in Anaheim, California. Among the new products are the X-Depth gauge for hydraulic fittings (and similar hydraulic fitting dimensions) and variable thread or bore depth from a fastener end face, plus the new Runout Gages for features related to a cylindrical or thread datum.

All Johnson Gage Thread Inspection Systems incorporate capability for the inspection and verification of both pitch diameter and functional size in accordance with the requirements of SAE AS8879—“Screw threads—Unj profile, inch controlled radius root with increased minor diameter” and other similar specifications. Suitable for both inspection and process control applications, the inspection systems can be used on UN, UNJ, metric, Acme, and buttress threads. Various models are available for either bench or portable inspection applications.
