(Spar Point Research LLC: Danvers, MA) -- SPAR Europe and Plant-Tech have joined forces to present an event on 3-D data integration and new 3-D technology applications across a range of industries, with a special focus on industrial plants, but also encompassing urban modeling, transportation, building information modeling, security planning, forensic investigations, mining, and digital preservation of historic sites. The conference will take place Dec 6–8 at the Amsterdam RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam.

Learn about new workflows and products to capture, process, and manage 3-D data from multiple sources, including 3-D laser scanners, mobile mapping, scanning platforms, and next-generation photogrammetry. Real-world case studies will help attendees understand new data management challenges presented by 3-D imaging, including the need to integrate front-end design data with as-built data, from laser-scan point clouds to CAD to GIS; integrate as-built with maintenance and operations functions; and identify data that are most current and accurate for streamlined information management.
