(IPETRONIK: Livonia, MI) -- IPETRONIK, an industry leader in the design, development, and manufacture of mobile measurement technologies for the global automotive market, has announced the introduction of the Sx-STG, the newest member of the IPETRONIK Sx product family.

The Sx-STG is a compact, eight-channel, high-speed, multi-input analog measurement module with onboard sensor excitation. The modules are designed for use within demanding mobile measurement applications with stringent reliability and high sample rate requirements, such as vibration and acceleration assessments, road load data acquisition, and vehicle component and body testing.

The IPETRONIK Sx-STG offers user-selectable sensor signal output types, including IEPE (also known as ISOTRON or ICP); charge or voltage output; and strain gauge, with support for 1/4, 1/2, and full-bridge circuit designs. An option to include TEDS sensor recognition (per IEEE 1451.4) is also available.

Each analog input is galvanically isolated and able to measure twelve unipolar and bipolar voltages from ±0.01 to ±50V, with 16-bit resolution and the ability to withstand maximum voltages up to ±100V.
