(Coordinate Metrology Society: Benbrook, TX) -- The Coordinate Metrology Society (CMS), the preeminent membership association for measurement professionals, has announced the extension of its call for papers deadline to March 18. The organization has received a record number of abstract submissions, and plans to offer a second track of concurrent technical presentations during the 2011 Coordinate Metrology Systems Conference (CMSC) in Phoenix, held July 25–29. The CMSC is the only North American conference dedicated solely to users of portable, high-precision measurement technology used to inspect manufactured and assembled components on the factory floor.
