(Lumetrics: Rochester, NY) -- Lumetrics, a leading manufacturer of measurement technology, began shipment of its latest innovation, the LumetriScan 360, a fully automated, noncontact thickness measurement system for the medical industry.

The LumetriScan 360 can be used on long-length medical tubing up to 36 inches in length or balloons of almost any size. The system is intended to reduce inspection costs, improve yields, and satisfy stringent Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements for new and existing products.
