(Capture 3D: Farmington Hills, MI) -- The ATOS ScanBox from Capture 3D, manufacturer and provider of the services of 3-D industrial measurement solutions, is an innovative optical measuring system for 3-D coordinate measurement that offers a comparable investment volume to traditional coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). However, it delivers full-field surface measurement of small to large parts, easy-to-understand result visualizations, simple problem finding, and complete reporting.

The ATOS ScanBox measures different object sizes, surface finishes, and complexities, giving versatility to 3-D digitizing by delivering:
• Accurate 3-D coordinates and high data quality
• Full-field deviation to CAD, 2-D, and part to part
• Section-based analysis, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and trend analysis
• Complete measuring reports

The complete plug-and-play solution incorporates everything required for automated digitizing and inspection; no additional planning investment is necessary. All that is required on site is a single power socket.
