(AMETEK MOCON: Minneapolis) -- AMETEK MOCON, a global leader in gas measurement instrumentation, has unveiled the Dansensor CheckMate 4, its premier headspace analyzer for precise and reliable quality control of products packaged in modified atmosphere (MAP). This advanced analyzer ensures that the required gas composition is present within each package, safeguarding product freshness and quality.

Headspace gas analysis is crucial for MAP products, preventing issues like microbial growth and freshness loss. The Dansensor CheckMate 4 refines this process, allowing manufacturers to spot-check packages on the production line or in the laboratory, reducing waste and product recalls.

“When it comes to accuracy, the Dansensor CheckMate 4 is unmatched,” says Dorthe Oldrup, global product manager at MOCON Europe. “It’s precision in measuring headspace gases ensures that packages meet the highest standards of quality and safety. It is also suitable for testing packages in highly regulated industries, such as medical devices and pharmaceuticals.”
