(DCS: Troy, MI) -- Dimensional Control Systems Inc. (DCS), provider of dimensional engineering software solutions and consulting services, has announced that Richard Rots, new business development and project manager for DCS, will address engineers and manufacturers at the COE 2011 Annual PLM Conference and TechniFair. The event will be held April 3–5, at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida.

Rots’ session will be held 4:30 p.m. on April 4. He will present “How to Use Simulation-Based 3-D Tolerance Analysis to Shorten Development Cycles, Improve Quality, and Maximize Process Capabilities, Engineering Analysis, and Simulation.” Specifically, he will share how the correlation of theoretical tolerance analysis results produced during engineering simulation to actual as-built results can help validate or adjust as-designed simulation parameters to more closely align with production process capabilities, creating efficiencies and speeding development.
