(SPAR: Portland, MN) -- Participants at SPAR Europe, the Conference on 3D Imaging & Data Management for Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, and Security, were treated to a combination of traditional presentations and live demonstrations that provided insight into the latest 3-D data capture and processing techniques, technologies, applications, and best practices. In all, more than 40 demonstrations were staged at SPAR Europe to give participants an up-close look at how experts conduct scan work in the field.

SPAR Europe kicked off on Nov. 7 with a pre-conference tutorial, a meeting hosted by FIATECH, and a tour of the Netherlands Forensics Institute’s CSI lab. The conference concluded on Nov. 9 with more live demonstrations, presentations of the demonstration results, conference sessions, exhibits, and networking time.
