(Schreiner PrinTrust: Shanghai) – Schreiner PrinTrust, a developer of customized radio frequency identification (RFID) solutions and security labels for system and service providers with a focus on identification and authentication, is supplying RFID-enabled films for seventhings, a German software company whose systems manage physical assets. Among other potential applications, these time- and resource-saving solutions help large organizations inventory furniture, technology, and other assets, improving business efficiencies and preventing redundant infrastructure investments.

With the ability to localize and earmark objects, the cloud-driven, subscription-based physical-assets management software has since been adopted by several organizations, including universities, insurance companies, local chambers of commerce, and business institutions.

In developing the system, seventhings’ founders Steffen Prasse and Patrick Boden prioritized user simplicity and intuitiveness. “We wanted our solution to help companies reduce the high staffing requirements involved in the conventional, physical counting of assets and avoid redundant purchases with our digital physical-assets management tool,” says Prasse.
