PharmaEdge Summit Announced

The 2006 PharmaEdge Summit will examine the unprecedented pressures and public scrutiny facing the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The event will he held Jan. 22–24 at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort at Grande Dunes, South Carolina. Delegates will discuss benchmarking, best practices and strategies on how to optimize the manufacturing process, improve time-to-market and avoid costly delays, while complying with regulations.

There will be an executive summit with four tracks: engineering, manufacturing, quality and regulatory affairs, and supply chain and RFID. Presentations planned include “Facility Design Concepts Related to Current Good Manufacturing Practices,” “Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Process Attributes that Impact Facility Design” and “Lean Six Sigma as a Building Block for Transparency on the Plant Floor.”
