(CMSC: Benbrook, TX) -- The Coordinate Metrology Society (CMS), the eminent membership association for industrial measurement professionals, is hosting the first CMSC Metrology Careers Fair on Thursday, July 19, 2012, from 10 a.m.–11:30 a.m., during the Coordinate Metrology Systems Conference (CMSC 2012). The conference will run July 16–20, 2012, in the exhibition hall at The Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans. Admission to the CMSC Metrology Careers Fair is free, but you must check in at the conference registration desk to gain entry to the Fair.

This event is designed to generate interest in the field of metrology (the science of measurement), and to engage and educate young engineers, measurement novices and experts, and industrial professionals looking for a new career path. The Careers Fair is ideal for those with backgrounds in engineering and manufacturing. Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes and questions about the field of metrology.
