Episode Details:
In this live video episode, we will take a look at the basics of computer tomography using a Zeiss METROTOM 800 coordinate measuring machine.
We will also look at ZEISS CALYPSO software.
Computed tomography allows you to:
• Capture data from cavities, undercuts, or deeply recessed objects
• Detect defects not seen using traditional inspection methods
• Measure internal and external features nondestructively
The METROTOM features an extremely small focal point that enables razor-sharp projection images on the detector—the foundation for high measuring accuracy. The METROTOM 800 detector delivers almost three million pixels, for very high detail recognition.
CALYPSO software
CALYPSO is a common metrology software for ZEISS and non-ZEISS CMMs, which allows you to increase productivity and optimize your measuring capabilities.
Throughout the broadcast, we will have breaks for your questions, which can be e-mailed to techno-live@qualitydigest.com. We will try to answer all questions on the air. If we don't get to your question on air, we will answer later via e-mail.
