It will be held on April 15, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C. The USSS is a revision of the National Standards Strategy for the United States (NSS), which was published in 2000. ANSI convened a committee to review and revise the NSS, and more than 100 representatives of industry, standards developers, consumer groups and the government have participated in the review process.
