(Messagemind: New York) -- Messagemind Inc. announces its commercial launch of PRISM, a first of its kind—total quality management and Six Sigma analysis for e-mail communication. PRISM's intelligent software works in the background and automatically gathers e-mail data and user actions within Microsoft Outlook and mobile devices including Blackberry, iPhone, and Windows Mobile. It improves e-mail communication and facilitates compliance and customer service by providing near real-time analytics and customizable reports and alerts; and the business intelligence suite is particularly valuable to project managers and customer service, compliance, and supply chain management.

E-mail has become the most heavily used method of communication and collaboration. Employees are spending more than 41 percent of their work time within e-mail programs and their mobile devices. The time spent is expected to increase with the relentless growth in electronic communications. Furthermore, customer service operations and global teams are becoming increasingly dependent on e-mail. However, there is a problem stemming from a lack of productivity goals, measurement, analysis, and standards concerning e-mail use and work flow.
