Four courses and online office hours beginning in November

The Performance Management Group (TPMG) is offering new live, e-learning courses through two certification and training programs: Lean Six Sigma Service Excellence and Performance Management.

Lean Six Sigma Service Excellence

Course: No. Online Live 21—Black Belt Certification—Nov. 1 and Dec. 6
The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Program for Service Excellence is a rigorous 80-hour program (one week per month for two months) designed to produce competent graduates who effectively implement the Six Sigma principles that drive performance improvement in services and transactional organizations. The program provides a quality principles overview, in-depth instruction in management by fact, and a structured performance improvement methodology used by lean Six Sigma Black Belts and Master Black Belts worldwide.

Course: Green Belt Certification—Dec. 13 through Dec. 17
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Program for Service Excellence is a 40-hour seminar and workshop. The program provides a quality principles overview, in-depth instruction in management-by-fact, along with a structured performance improvement methodology and use of the Six Sigma tools utilized in more than 80 percent of Six Sigma improvement efforts. Performance Management

Course: No. BSCCH10—Balanced Scorecard Certification—Nov. 8
The Performance Management Balanced Scorecard Certification program is a rigorous five-day workshop that offers a step-by-step method for strategy and performance management. The course helps you master a focus on the future through the art of formulating successful strategies and translating those strategies into performance measures and targets. Equipped with a proven method for developing and deploying strategy, you will be prepared to execute winning strategies that add and sustain value.

Course: “Design and Deploy Performance and Quality Metrics the Six Sigma Way”—Nov. 18 and Dec. 2
During this six-hour workshop, participants will learn an easy, step-by-step approach to designing and deploying their organizations’ performance and quality metrics. A live online TPMG instructor will show you how to easily implement operational metrics like Six Sigma professionals. Learn the value of designing and deploying quality and performance metrics, the benefits of systematically measuring operational performance, best practices in performance measurement, measurement-system development and reporting, and how to design the right metrics that are important to executive leadership.

Course: “Leader as Coach”—Dec. 3 and Dec. 11
Leader as Coach is a one-day seminar and workshop that promotes the value of positive reinforcement and how it helps managers coach even the most difficult employees to do their best. The program gives managers the leading theories of motivation with practical techniques to evaluate, motivate, and elevate employee performance.

Online office hours

Starting November 2010, TPMG online instructors will be keeping online office hours for live coaching and support. These coaching hours are offered as a free service for those who participate in TPMG certification and training courses for the remainder of 2010. Contact TPMG directly for details.
