Jordan Valley Semiconductors Inc., a provider of semiconductor metrology solutions, recently formed a distribution partnership with OpenDream, a Korean manufacturing company.

OpenDream will provide sales and support services for Jordan Valley to Korean customers. The agreement is effective immediately.

“When you’re introducing a new technology into the thin-film metrology market, there is another level of customer and market education that’s required,” says Sean Jameson, Jordan Valley vice president. “We feel that OpenDream is the exact fit we were looking for in Korea because of their unique expertise in metrology. In-line X-ray metrology solutions are often seen as disruptive to currently accepted measurement technologies, but OpenDream has a great track record of working with the large Korean semiconductor manufacturers with new, innovative solutions.”
