The Boston office of Intertek ETL Entela recently received Automotive EMC Laboratory Recognition Program (AEMCLAP) accreditation through the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation. The facility is the only New England lab to receive the accreditation. The scope covers bulk current injection, electro static discharge, radiated emissions and radiated immunity testing. The Boston facility also has recognition from Ford Motor Co. and General Motors with accordance with their respective requirements.
The A2LA AEMCLRP Review Committee is made up of representatives from DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Co. and General Motors. The intent of the program is to establish common criteria for the evaluation of the competency of automotive EMC laboratories by third-party accreditation bodies. The accreditation allows Intertek ETL Entela to provide AEMCLAP-approved testing services to automotive OEMs and suppliers.
Intertek ETL Entela is an international testing, inspection and certification organization that provides global conformity assessment services for a wide range of products and industries
