AICON Americas Hosts Annual Technology Fair

Showcasing optical metrology as an enabler for manufacturing innovation

Published: Thursday, August 20, 2015 - 11:15

(AICON: Plymouth, MI) -- AICON Americas will host its annual Technology Fair on Sept. 9, 2015, at its offices in Plymouth, Michigan. The event features educational technical sessions and product demonstrations that illustrate how manufacturers and engineering test centers are using optical metrology to gain competitive advantage. The event features sessions on optical tube and wire gauging, 3D scanning technologies, and material testing.

“We host this event to provide an opportunity for engineers and managers to step away from their hectic day-to-day work for a few hours to think strategically about opportunities for improvement,” says Paul Joss, general manager of AICON Americas. “By learning how others in industry are deploying optical technologies to reduce time and labor in their measurement processes, our customers recognize how they can bring innovations to their own processes.”

The AICON Technology Fair is a must-see event for professionals in automotive, aerospace, energy, defense, and related industries working in dimensional inspection, material and component testing, metrology labs, vehicle safety testing, reverse engineering, tube and wire bending, or vehicle dynamics testing.
