Announcing the First-Ever Metrology Solutions Expo

May 4–5, 2016, in Greenville, South Carolina

(MSI-Viking Gage: Duncan, SC) -- The first Metrology Solutions Expo is the show metrology professionals have been waiting for. Presented by Mahr Federal, Mitutoyo America, and The L.S. Starrett Co., and hosted by MSI-Viking Gage, the Metrology Solutions Expo will take place May 4–5, 2016, at the TD Convention Center in Greenville, South Carolina.

This two-day event will include demonstrations of the latest precision measuring equipment from the world’s leading names in the quality business.

“Mahr is proud to be a sponsor of the first-ever Metrology Solutions Expo,” says Kurt Braun, vice president of sales at Mahr Federal. “Mahr’s extensive offerings in dimensional metrology solutions and 154 years of expertise, along with the increasing manufacturing activity in the Southeast region, will make this a very powerful event.”

The expo will be jam-packed with exhibits, training classes, and more. It will attract executive managers, engineers, technicians, and purchasers responsible for quality control in all types of manufacturing applications throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Mississippi. The event is also open to students 18 years and older with aspirations in metrology and manufacturing quality technologies.

Mitutoyo, Starrett, and Mahr Federal are headlining the event and will be joined by other leading metrology exhibitors including Easy-METRIC, HEIDENHAIN, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Johnson Gage, MicroRidge Systems, MSI-Viking Gage, Olympus Corp. of the Americas, Palmer Wahl Instrumentation Group, Phase II Machine & Tool Inc., Quality Magazine, Renishaw, Setco Precision Solutions, Solartron Metrology, STOR-LOC Modular Systems, ThomasNet, Tohnichi, +Vantage, Vermont Gage, and Witte ALUFIX. This lineup makes the expo an event you won’t want to miss.

This trade show comes at a great time for the Southeast, with many manufacturing companies coming to the region to open their doors. With a pro-business environment in the region, this activity should only continue to increase.

The Metrology Solutions Expo will be held May 4, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and May 5, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the TD Convention Center in the James H. Woodside Conference Center. The Woodside Conference Center entrance is most easily accessed from the Eisenhower Drive-side of the convention center. Parking is available both across the street and adjacent to the building.
