“The CMSF is a big step in adding more value for CMS members as well as our world-class conference, certification program, and 3DMU library, says Joe Sabol, CMS board of directors chairman. “CMSF has assembled an outstanding group of individuals to launch this tremendous benefit for our members.”
The initial board of directors for CMS comprises highly experienced and talented people in education, metrology, business, marketing, sales, and communications. Joining Sabol on the board are Bonnie Dunbar, Jeff Dewar, Paul Nicholas, Rick Cole, Scott Sandwith, and Bobby Martinez.
The CMSF board has partnered with the Peninsula Community Foundation (PCF) of Virginia Inc., Hampton, Virginia, to manage the funds and provide support for the scholarship and grant application, selection, awarding, and donor acknowledgement processes.
With 22 years of experience, PCF manages 190 charitable funds for individuals, families, nonprofits, and corporations. It supports a robust, nationwide scholarship program that includes 20 scholarships and two teacher grant programs.
