Sypris Electronics Receives "Outstanding" Rating

The Defense Contract Management Agency recently awarded Sypris Electronics an “outstanding” rating for its efforts in support of small businesses.Companies that work with the Department of Defense and the DCMA are required to submit Small Business Subcontracting Plans that include a list of goals they plan to achieve during the year. At the end of the year, each company is rated on achieving their specified goals. There are five possible ratings: outstanding, highly successful, acceptable, marginal and unsatisfactory.

“Sypris Electronics successfully met or exceeded all the goals in our Small Business Plan, warranting us a rating of ‘outstanding’ for a fourth consecutive year,” says Bob Sanders, Sypris Electronics president. “I’d like to congratulate all Sypris Electronics employees and supply chain partners for their commitment to our small business efforts and dedication to our company goals and objectives.”
