Two upcoming conferences hosted by WCBF will feature the use of Six Sigma in very different contexts. “Six Sigma for Financial Services” will be held June 21–23 at the Westin New York at Times Square, in New York City. It has been designed to be applicable for beginners, intermediate and advanced Six Sigma practitioners, and will include tracks for executives working in technical, operational, managerial and leadership roles.
Guillermo Kopp, TowerGroup vice president for financial strategies and IT investments, will deliver the keynote address. It will be chaired by Juran Institute President and CEO Joe DeFeo; and feature addresses from Raj Shroff, CitiCards vice president for engineering and planning; Joe McCartin, National City Corp., chief information officer; and Robert Shekell ZC Sterling Corp. executive director of global services.
“Successfully Implementing Six Sigma in Sales & Marketing” will be held Sept. 7–9 in New Orleans. Key topics include the critical advances seen in tasks such as marketing collateral, new product development, lead generation and customer support; and the returns of Six Sigma in sales and marketing.
