Paul Valder is the founder and President of Toronto based onBRAND Global Solutions, Inc. onBRAND Global Solutions provides independent "first-in-class” risk-based consulting and professional support services to industry and is fully equipped to help organizations throughout the value-chain, to meet increasing customer, regulatory and consumer requirements, when it comes to globally recognized food safety and quality management systems or standards, in health, safety, security, environment and sustainability.

Formerly in his role as Executive Director for the QMI-SAI Global Agri-Food Group. Paul was the driving force behind the expansion of QMI-SAI Global and the Agri-Food Group within the Americas, whereby he oversaw a technical and account management team responsible for delivering auditing and certification programs. Such programs, included the BRC Global Food Safety Standard, Issue 5, SQF2000, ISO9000, ISO22000, ISO14000 and other recognized global standards.

Previous to QMI-SAI Global, Paul spent eight years as the Vice President of U.S. based Steritech, responsible for their Canadian food safety business. Paul has more than 18 years of pest management experience as co-founder and Canadian Vice-President of Marketing and Sales with a well known international pest management firm.

Over the past 30 years, Paul has pioneered many of the industry's new technologies, including founding Canada’s only Food Safety and Quality trade magazine. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Ottawa based Canadian Supply Chain and Food Safety Coalition. He participates on the committee responsible, with federal, provincial and territorial government stakeholders, for the development of a “National Strategy for Industry -Led Food Safety Programs”.
