(KOTEM: Rochester, NY) -- KOTEM, a developer of data-fitting and GD&T evaluation software for industrial measurement, has released SmartProfile 2.0, the all-new version of its popular geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) evaluation software.
SmartProfile provides fast, accurate analysis of measured data compared to a part’s CAD model using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. It can be used to confirm design intent for shape, form, profile, orientation, and location on any rigid part. SmartProfile works with point cloud data from any measurement system, and v. 2.0 includes the SmartViewer interactive point-cloud viewer to quickly visualize measured data as a color overlay on top of a CAD model.
KOTEM will demonstrate SmartProfile 2.0 at IMTS 2012 in booth E-5602, East Lakeside Hall, Chicago, Sept. 10–15, 2012.
