(MicroRidge: Sunriver, OR) -- MicroRidge Systems will highlight its reliable, flexible and easy-to-use MobileCollect wireless measurement technology at the 2012 International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) being held Sept. 10–15, 2012 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. MicroRidge can be found in Booth E-5552, which is located in the Quality Assurance, Pavilion, Lakeside Center (East) Building.
MobileCollect wireless collects measurements from handheld gauges using “Mobile Modules” that attach securely to the gauge or fixture and then sends those measurements wirelessly to a PC for quality control. Highly reliable, MobileCollect wireless is ideal in situations where there is heavy RF, significant machinery, robots, or electrical noise. It is often the only collection device that works unaffected all of the time.
“We have been listening to our customers for nearly three decades,” says Mary Chisholm, vice president of operations and marketing at MicroRidge. “Using customer feedback, in combination with flexibility and technology advances as our core business philosophy, has resulted in the ability to provide our customers with technology that reduces costs, increases production, and achieves focused, real-time results.”
MicroRidge has designed MobileCollect around the latest wireless technology, which results in affordability, reliability, and data integrity. MobileCollect’s ease of use, speed, versatility, and range are second to none. Users typically find that it significantly reduces ongoing cable costs and down time due to less frequent cable failure and replacement. Implementing MobileCollect wireless is less costly than cabling in many applications with hand gauges.
