TechSolve Puts Workforce Development in the Spotlight With Premiere MFG Strong Summit

(TechSolve: Cincinnati) -- TechSolve, a Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Center dedicated to the advancement of manufacturing through technology, presents the premiere MFG Strong workforce summit for Southwest Ohio manufacturers. The one-day event brings together key workforce development and community leaders with manufacturers from Hamilton, Warren, Butler, Clermont, Highland, Brown, and Clinton counties. Scheduled for Thurs., Sept. 16, 2021, at the Duke Energy Center in downtown Cincinnati, the summit includes a keynote address from author and trainer Ryan Jenkins, as well as breakout sessions addressing one of the hottest topics in manufacturing today—the workforce.

His insights have been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, and The Wall Street Journal, and he is co-founder of Sync Learning Experiences—a learning and development consultancy focused on helping workers gain modern skills.

For the morning sessions, attendees break out into groups for sessions on: “Strengthening Recruitment and Employee Retention,” “Addressing the Future of Work & Technology Integration,” and “Access to Workforce Programing and Funding.” After the lunchtime keynote, afternoon sessions focus on networking, county-focused breakout sessions, and an education institution panel discussion. A plated breakfast, box lunch, and breaks are included. Tickets are $180 for general admission, $120 for Ohio manufacturers.
