Rath joined NDI in 2004 and has held the role of vice president of NDI’s Medical Division since 2007. “I am delighted to be stepping into this role at NDI, and look forward to leading the NDI team through the next chapter of its remarkable history,” says Rath.
Prior to joining NDI, Rath worked in product development and marketing for XLTEK, now a division of Natus Medical. Rath earned his master of science in biomedical engineering from the University of Western Ontario and his bachelor of science in systems engineering from the University of Waterloo.
“David is a natural choice for president at NDI in light of his proven results leading the Medical Division during the past five years,” says Neil Hunn, group vice president at Roper Industries, which acquired NDI in June 2011. “We are confident that NDI will continue to experience tremendous success.”
Fraser will continue with Roper Industries and will be maintaining close involvement with NDI. Roper Industries Inc. provides engineered products and solutions for global niche markets, including water, energy, transportation, medical, education, and SaaS-based information networks.
