My name is Danny Cohen, I have lived in 31 places, around the world, for one year or more. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, before Alaska was a state. I started high school in Munich, Germany in 1972, I was stationed in Edzell, Scotland for three years near Lock Ness with the United States Navy, I have lived in Colorado, North Carolina, Maine, Pennsylvania, Florida, Virginia, and for the last 23 years, I have lived here in Imperial Beach, California, the most southwestern city in the United States. We have an annual event called ¿Sandcastle Days¿, where contestants come from all over the world to build the best sandcastle.
I have held jobs such as a Quality Metrics Manager, Program Analyst, Senior Research Specialist, Senior Management Specialist, Reliability Engineer, Electronics Technician, Electrician, Solid State Control Specialist, Copier Technician, Cook, and Cryptologic Technician.
At University of Phoenix Online in January of 2003, I began my pursit of a terminal degree. I completed the Bachelor of Science Information Technology (BSIT) program in July 2005, the Master Information Systems Management (MISM) program in July 2007, and the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in December 2008. My current pursuit of a Doctorate of Management (DM) began in January 2009, and may reach attainment in this 2012th year of our Lord.
I am a chess player, I like to bowl, ride bicycles, and I dabble in web design (http://www.dcwizerd.com). I also enjoy spending time with my wife of 36.5 years. Most recently, my utmost pleasure in life is to enjoy my quest for lifelong learning. My passion is to gain scholarly knowledge and practice, and to become a true practitioner of leadership in this twenty-first century. I have successfully completed 62 online classes with University of Phoenix.
